An Open Republican Tournament Crimea Spring
for Kyokushinkai among youth and juniors in kata and kumite, as well as Crimea Republic Cup among men and women in kumite and kata were held in Simferopol.
The competitions brought together more than 150 sportsmen from Simferopol, Evpatoria, Alushta, Partenit, Yalta, Stary Krym, Feodosia, Dzhankoy, Uglovoe Village (Bakhchisarai Region), Nikolaevka and Gvardeiskoe Villages (Simferopol Region), Sevastopol, Krasnodar Krai and Moscow.
Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Crimea Vitaly Romanov, who attended the opening ceremony of the competitions, congratulated participants on the third anniversary of the Crimea Spring and wished success in sports.
Also the event was attended by deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, honorary president of the federation Union of Kyokushin Karate of the Republic of Crimea Valery Aksenov, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Tarasov and Natalya Lantukh, president of the All-Russian Public Organization Kyokushin Karate of Russia Alexander Kramyshev, vice-president of the Federation of Kekusinkan Karate-do of Russia Alexander Popov, president of the Crimean Republican Kyokushinkai Association Vladimir Tsypulin.
